Laurie Azzarella, Founder of Reflex-OIL-ogy™ Reflex-Oil-ogy™ is an accumulation of the life time skills I have gathered as I sought resolution for my own personal health. At the age of seven I lost my hair due to environmental chemical toxicity. With the onset of Alopecia, even as a young child, I fought depression, I lost hope and I wondered where my God was and why my body had forsaken me. I not only was sick physically but I lost my spirituality and I was withdrawn emotionally. Modern Allopathic Medicine failed in treating the Alopecia, which we now know is an autoimmune syndrome. Therefore, I was left to seek out my own treatment and healing. I studied Herbology, diet, yoga and received chiropractic and massage therapy. While receiving body work, a massage therapist administered Reflexology. This experience validated and empowered me. Why? The tender spots on my feet corresponded to my constantly upset tummy and erratic bowels, headaches and general malaise. It was the first time I felt my body was communicating in an understandable way. Reflexology validated what I was feeling internally and it empowered me. It revitalized me, giving me a direction and Hope. I became an National Instructor for the International Institute of Reflexology in 1994, a massage therapist in 1995 and a Young Living Essential Oil Distributor in 2000. I became nationally certified and state licensed in both Massage Therapy and Reflexology and developed practices in New York, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi, often working weekly in three states. I began teaching natural wellness classes focusing on personal stretching, exercise, self massage and reflexology, essential oils, diet and cooking. This, along with my client practice, lead me to develop the Reflex-OIL-ogy™ of the Body Systems Modules. I feel there is a massive need to educate and empower people with an appreciation for the magnificence of the human creation. I pray you find power and learning about your divinely created body and what you can do to facilitate its care, vitality and longevity. If you consistently do good things, good will be created!
